“One Wednesday me and the missus went to check it out and we were impressed with the whole set up. Not only is the bar friendly and recently refurbished, there was a pool table, dart board, they were showing Sky Sports (only in the bar) and there was a huge area at the very back with a big playing field and fairly modern playground area for the kids.

The food menu is very, very affordable. Big sandwiches, chips and salad for only a fiver, for example. There was an extended menu for the evenings that was available to us. They serve food all day. There is an extensive drinks menu too.”

“Spent a night on a large grass area at back of pub. Plenty of space for our 8.0m motorhome. Met on arrival by friendly and helpful owner. Had beer batter fish and chips which was excellent and good value. Free parking in exchange for using the restaurant seems like a great deal to us. Thank you Sally and Boyd for a good stay we will be back.”
